Therapy

in Steinbach, Manitoba

attachment and trauma-informed

We work with an understanding of how trauma affects your life and how it can shape your efforts to cope.  It means we don’t ask what is wrong with you, instead we are curious about what has happened to you.  It also means we work together on your goals, at your pace while giving you choices in how we work.  We only move forward if there is a sense of safety and trust in our therapeutic relationship.

in-person and virtual sessions

Session last from 50 - 80 minutes and can be done by coming into my office in Steinbach, or by video on a secure and PHIA compliant platform.  Some enjoy the benefits of both and do a blend of in-person and video sessions to help accommodate their busy lives.

 How to start

01

When you are ready to start therapy, you reach out to us and we can book your first session. If you would like a 15 minute consult to see if we’re the right fit you can start with this.

02

At your first session we’ll have a chance to hear more about your story and goals for therapy. Your therapist go over the informed consent so you know how the process looks and your rights as a client.

03

Together we make a plan for what your therapy sessions will look like and we begin to grow trust together. Your therapist can work with your availability and your budget.

Refuge for Individuals, Couples or Families in Southeast Manitoba

A rocca (literally: "rock") is a type of Italian fortified stronghold or fortress, typically located on a hilltop, beneath or on which the inhabitants of a historically clustered village or town might take refuge at times of trouble. Generally under its owners' patronage, the settlement might hope to find prosperity in better times. A rocca might in reality be no grander than a fortified farmhouse.
